Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken (about 3–4 lbs / 1.5–2 kg)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (optional)
  • 1 lemon (halved, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Remove any giblets if included.

  2. Season: Rub olive oil all over the chicken. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and thyme. Sprinkle and rub the seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Optional stuffing: Place lemon halves inside the cavity of the chicken for extra flavor.
  4. Preheat the air fryer: Set the air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 5 minutes.
